Brother to Lauren - Rose, Kane and Leoni-su much loved son of to Dawn & Neil.
My eyes fill when I think of you..... Roman our Son.
Roman died from encephlocele a very rare disorder of the brain stem. We never knew until it was too late at 26 weeks gestation. It was another agonising 3 days before I gave birth since finding out
After giving birth to Roman, he lived for a while but he was too poorly to be with us. He spent the last few moments of his life with his mum and dad until it was time for him to go.
We spent 2 days with him in hospital with his dad and the time came when I had to say goodbye. My heart wrenches everytime I think I had to leave you go.
Your Nanny & Pops Hutchings were also with you. Time was spent with the people who truly loved you Roman. It was just us and your brother and sister and your nanny and grandad pop. They loved you Roman enough to be with you.
My dad agreed that Roman could be laid to rest with my nan and grandad pop and we held his funeral two weeks later. It was comforting to know that he would not be alone and he would be with people that would have loved him as much as we did.
We played Aerosmith, I don't want to miss a thing..... and still now when we hear his song, we think of him and what he would be doing now.
Not a day goes by when we don't think of him and how much love he brought to Neil and I in such a short time of his life.
We never knew how much one little boy could have impacted so much on our lives.
Neil and I married xmas eve and we concieved our Daughter Leoni. She safely arrived 9 months later.
